The purpose of the Vocational Service committee is to develop procedures and criteria for projects, reflecting the economy and the cut in agency support. There is the potential to make a large donation (e.g., $5000 for two years) to an agency like the 4-Cs that serves both Sycamore and DeKalb. Perhaps funds combined with a volunteer day would be meaningful. Also, projects should be sent to the District office for matching funds and/or a recognition of the club activities.
Projects include: Two $1,000 scholarships, Funds to Kishwaukee College Adult Education Program, $500 to Head Start, and $500 for miscellaneous projects.
